Last week we offered you the tool to see where you are now, how balanced is your life at this moment.
This week let’s talk about your goals and how important it is to write your intentions down, because as long as they are in your head they are just wishes, as Anthony Robbins says “ if you talk about it, it’s a dream, if you envision it, it’s possible, but if you schedule it, it’s real.
So it is not enough to just write it down, create also a plan, with action steps.
It is important to set goals for all areas in your life if you want to keep a balance in your life, if you just focus on one thing other things will be left behind, that can work for a short period, but it won’t fulfil you.
If you want to know where you are now and you haven’t done so, create your wheel of life.
Create a goal journal and write down the goals you have for every arear of your life
- Your health
- Your relationships
- Your finances
- Your personal growth/ changes you would like to see
- Your work
Write it in the way it works for you, this could be a nice journal, an app, on your computer important is that you write it down and create an action plan
Set a goal for each area of your life and write down the first three action steps you will take towards your goal.
Block time in your agenda, make it simple, reachable and fun and go for it.
Get the hang of it don’t beat yourself up, a slow start is allowed. You are allowed time to get into a flow. You must not expect to be out of the starting blocks at 100 mph.
Trust your plan. Be kind to yourself. Take action and baby steps each day and the year will unfold as you wish it to.
